Lancia Ypsilon
The Lancia Y or Lancia Ypsilon is produced by the Italian car manufacturer Lancia. This supermini was released in 1996 and replaced the Y10. It was available only with a three-door hatchback body and shared different elements with the first generation of the Fiat Punto. The petrol engines available were from 1.1 to 1.4 litres and the 1.4 version has an old 12-valve unit, and was afterwards replaced with a 16-valve one.
This car version received a small facelift in October 2000 and a new version was released in 2003. Many people hoped the new version had more doors but it was still a three-door body. Still, the best sold model of Lancia is the Ypsilon and Fiat is now trying to separate Lancia as the luxury brand.
